Samsung Unveils Premiere 8K and Premiere 5 UST Projectors with Lightwarp Technology

Samsung takes the projector experience to new heights with the announcement of its latest offerings, the Premiere 8K and Premiere 5 ultra-short-throw projectors. The Samsung Premiere 8K projector, the crown jewel of Samsung’s projector lineup, boasts native 8K resolution, seamlessly upscaling 4K content. Sporting a 100W sound system with 8.2.2-channel audio, Dolby Atmos, and innovative Sound-on-Screen technology, the device immerses users in a cinematic audiovisual experience. With the ability to project a massive 150-inch image from a mere 12 inches away, it sets a new standard for home entertainment.

The Premiere 5, touted as the world’s most compact triple-laser ultra-short-throw projector, is a versatile addition to any space. Its compact dimensions—approximately 20 cm tall, 14 cm wide, and 1.67 kg in weight—make it effortlessly portable. Despite its size, the Premiere 5 can project a 100-inch screen from just 17 inches away, making it suitable for various room sizes and configurations.

A notable feature shared by both projectors is the introduction of Lightwarp technology, transforming any object or surface into an interactive display. Users can customize widgets such as weather, clock, news, and more on the wall, allowing for seamless interaction with the projected content. This functionality extends to tabletop games, enhancing the overall user experience.

Samsung has not yet revealed pricing and availability details, but enthusiasts can sign up for updates on the 2024 TV and audio lineups, offering a chance to win a Freestyle 2nd Gen with Gaming Hub portable projector and a $100 discount on purchases.
