In an exciting development, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has recently certified the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra S-Pen, providing a sneak peek into the stylus’s design ahead of the anticipated January 2024 launch. The CAD renders of the smartphone have already hinted at its overall design, but the FCC certification sheds light on the specifics of the accompanying S-Pen.
The certified stylus, bearing the model code EJ-PS928, boasts Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, enhancing its functionality and ease of use. The design closely resembles that of the S23 Ultra’s S-Pen, maintaining a sleek and ergonomic profile. The FCC documents reveal a grey/graphite color model, with the possibility of additional color options corresponding to the smartphone’s palette.
According to FCC specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra S-Pen operates within a frequency range of 2,402 – 2,480 MHz. The stylus measures 104.64mm in length, although its weight remains undisclosed in the documentation. It is yet to be confirmed whether the S-Pen will carry any IP rating for water or dust resistance.
As Samsung gears up to unveil the Galaxy S24 series in January, more details about the lineup are expected to surface in the coming weeks. Tech enthusiasts and Samsung aficionados can anticipate a comprehensive overview of the features and specifications, building on the already revealed design elements.
